Invoicing for the people actually doing the work

AllSquare is an iOS app built specifically for UK tradespeople — not a generic accountancy product with "tradesperson" bolted on top.

Why AllSquare exists

Most invoicing software is written for accountants. The screens are designed for someone sitting at a desk with time to tag categories, reconcile accounts and run reports. That's not how UK tradespeople run their businesses.

A sparky finishes the EICR, the plumber walks out of the kitchen, the gas engineer closes the airing cupboard — and the invoice is the last thing between them and getting paid. It needs to be a 60-second job on the phone, with proper branding, correct VAT, and no "upgrade to remove watermark" nonsense.

AllSquare is built around that moment. Describe the work by voice, review the generated invoice, hit send. Save your common parts and rates once and future invoices are two taps. Everything works offline because job sites don't always have signal.

Who makes AllSquare

AllSquare was founded by Aidan Godfrey and is built at Techgeezer Limited, a small UK software company that publishes the app. Techgeezer builds tools that help self-employed people get paid faster and spend less time on paperwork — then get out of the way.

Aidan also writes the AllSquare blog, which covers the practical side of quoting, invoicing and getting paid in the UK trades: how to write a professional invoice, how to quote a job, what a UK invoice must include, and Self Assessment for tradespeople. Articles on tax and the law link to their GOV.UK sources and are general guidance, not professional advice.

What gets built next is shaped by the tradespeople using the app. If something is missing for the way your trade works, tell us.

Built for UK trades

AllSquare is designed around how trade work actually happens in the UK: pricing a job for a homeowner after a site visit, taking a deposit for materials, adding extras agreed on site, and invoicing a main contractor with labour and materials on separate lines. UK VAT is built in, prices are in pounds by default, and the language is British English.

What the app does

  • Create invoices and estimates on iPhone and iPad
  • Optionally describe a job by voice or text and let AI draft the invoice or estimate for you to check
  • Branded PDF invoices and estimates with your logo and details
  • Saved clients and a price list, so repeat jobs take a few taps
  • Turn an accepted estimate into an invoice in one tap
  • Works offline, for jobs with no signal
  • UK VAT built in, plus more than 50 currencies

The free plan includes 2 invoices, 2 estimates and 10 AI credits every month. AllSquare Pro is £5.99 a month or £49.99 a year for unlimited invoices and estimates and 100 AI credits a month, with a 3-day free trial. See pricing.

Free tools, no sign-up

Not every tradesperson needs an app. Our free browser tools work without an account: fill in the form and download a PDF with your own details on it, with no watermark. They're there for the occasional invoice or quote; the app is for people who send them every week.
