Techgeezer Limited ("we", "us", "AllSquare") runs the getallsquare.com website and the AllSquare iOS app. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights under UK GDPR.

What we collect

From the website (getallsquare.com)

Analytics data: anonymised page views, device type, approximate location (country level), and interaction events (e.g. "clicked Download"). We use Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel and Contentsquare/Hotjar. These providers may set cookies.
Nothing else by default: the free web tools (invoice generator, estimate generator, receipt generator, timesheet generator, freelance rate calculator) run entirely in your browser. The data you enter — your business details, line items, client info — is not sent to our servers. The resulting PDF is generated locally on your device.
If you contact us: your email address and the content of your message (sent to hello@techgeezer.ai).

From the iOS app

Account data: your name, email, business details (if you choose to add them), logo, saved client list and price list. Stored on your device and in our cloud for sync.
Invoicing data: invoices, estimates, receipts and timesheets you create. Stored on your device and in our cloud for sync and backup.
AI feature inputs: when you use voice-to-invoice, the audio is processed in real time to extract line items. Voice recordings are not retained after the invoice is created. The transcribed text may be processed by an AI language model provider to generate the invoice draft.
Device and usage data: standard App Store crash reports and anonymous usage analytics for improving the app.

Why we collect it (lawful bases under UK GDPR)

Performance of contract: to provide you with the app and the free web tools.
Legitimate interest: to improve the product, understand how it is used, and prevent abuse.
Consent: for optional cookies (analytics) where applicable. You can decline these without affecting core functionality.
Legal obligation: for tax and financial records retention.

How long we keep it

Website analytics: 26 months (GA4 default).
App account data: for as long as your account exists, plus 30 days after deletion.
Invoicing data: for as long as your account exists; you can export or delete at any time.
Support emails: 24 months.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data. We share limited data only with the sub-processors we need to operate the service:

Apple (App Store distribution, in-app purchases, device-level sync)
Cloud hosting and database providers (for cloud sync of your invoicing data)
Analytics providers (Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Contentsquare/Hotjar) — anonymised and aggregated usage data only
An AI language model provider for the voice-to-invoice feature (text only; audio is not sent)
Email delivery providers (for sending invoice PDFs if you choose to send them via AllSquare)

Your UK GDPR rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data ("right to erasure")
Restrict or object to processing
Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk

Children

AllSquare is intended for use by adults (over 18) running a business. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for app users, notify you in the next app launch.
